Fred Campbell, whose craftsmanship, passion for masonry and talent for mentoring makes him an exemplary figure in the field. Fred owns and operates Creative Masonry Inc. located in Greeneville, TN.

Campbell was hooked on masonry from the moment he first began laying bricks alongside his father in his youth. His dad was a mason contractor who taught him everything he knows. His dad always taught me to do a good job and do it like it was your own house. If you would not accept your work on your house, don’t expect someone else to.

These words of wisdom have stuck with Campbell throughout his entire career, which began in earnest when he took over his father’s business at age 18. Today, he credits the success of his career and company to this commitment to quality, which is a source of great satisfaction for him and his employees.

Fred takes a lot of pride in his work and that pride goes well beyond what most masons would do.

Bob started his masonry career in 1960 working as a laborer for a local masonry company in Watauga, TN. Shortly after he started, he fell in love with the art of masonry and soon became a mason himself. A few years later, Bob introduced his 4 sons to masonry where they all showed promise in the industry. In 1980, Bob founded Campbell and Sons Masonry where his son, Fred, soon fell in love with the art. Bob and Fred worked side by side, every day for years. When Bob retired, Fred stepped in and later renamed the business to Creative Masonry Inc.

Fred's vast experience and knowledge of the masonry industry has facilitated Creative Masonry Inc. in securing some of the largest landmark projects in and around the Tri-Cities. He began his career in 1980 under the watchful eye of his father, Bob Campbell. Through the years he gained invaluable working knowledge as a foreman, field operations manager and boss. He has also gained invaluable awards and acknowledgements from masonry industries all across the United States. Some of his titles and awards include:
